Connecting The Paradise and Magalia Ridge to the Chico Valley
Interview style, family friendly podcast covering topics on the Paradise, Magalia, Concow Ridge and Chico area. Connecting the Ridge to the Valley with commute length podcasts between 35 - 40 mins(half on the drive up, half on the drive down) covering topics that will help you and your family get the most out of life in our area, enjoying the drive all the way.

With a goal to introduce the wonderful, hard working, brilliant business owners and entrepreneurs in the area to commuters and podcast fans alike, the show invites community members and do-gooders of all sorts to share their stories and successes as the Butte County Community continues to battle fires and other social challenges as it rebuilds and recovers.

Scott Amick has been in the Chico area since 2005 and has enjoyed the many benefits and experienced many of the challenges inherent in attending Butte College, then Chico State, then opening several businesses in Chico - then meeting his wife, then children, then the Camp Fire. All the while maintaining a positive disposition and focusing on what matters most - connecting with people through heartfelt relationships.

Scott now works at the Paradise Recreation and Parks District as a Recreation Supervisor. He also sees clients for Biomechanics, personal training, and health related appointments in between Frankenstick seminars.

A health and outdoors enthusiast, Scott also enjoys recording music, creating digital art, reading, and prioritizing time with his two young daughters and wife. Rooted in personal growth and gratitude, Scott's energy and influence is aimed at helping those he cares for live a healthier, abundance filled, content life.

Scott and his family have lived in Chico, Forrest Ranch, Paradise, and Magalia over the last two decades and have recognized the many factors effecting the average middle class family navigating the purchase of their first home, raising children in the digital age, maintaining health and vitality through trauma, and staying engaged with our community through it all. Scott brings dynamic work experience to the podcast, having held positions in the private, public, and educational sectors.
